yeahhhhh!!!!! i got my prada wallet. was so tempted to get it on e spot when i saw it with bim last fri. den decided not to buy it right away, so i made a reservation for e last piece to buy it e next day. hahahah i know its quite bim of me but well, i'm just like that hahhaahha

den e nex day, had dinner at sushi tei with fang rui they all. rush over to prada right after my dinner. saw that wallet again and i still so wanna buy it. den dear came to find me and whispered to me tht he'll share half e price with me!!!!!! didn expect dear to share with me cause he just bought me my tiffany ring for my bdae. heeeee so super happy immediately turn to e guy and say, "can i have a new piece" so i'm not getting e LV pouch alr hhahahaha. thanks dear!!!!! dear says is my christmas present. and i'm glad to have it!!!! smilez all over

i turned 23 yest. woootz time flies. seems like yest when i just celebrated my 22nd at dbl O. to reflect, this past year had been a nice year for me!

12th nov:

well i actually started my celebration since last wed. my aunt n cousin came to find me at jurong point on wed for lunch and treated me to crystal jade (1 of my fav chinese restaurants)

13th nov:

met cheryl and geo suan for dinner and we ate sushi tei (1 of my fav jap restauarants). and they bought estee lauder perfume for me! e pics are with cheryl. wait for her to send me 1st. haha

14th nov:

fri i ate dinner with my grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins at this zhi char place near my hse. actually is a treat by my cousin cause he just came back frm e states but i just took it as a celebration for myself too. hahaah

15th nov:

sat after work i went dempsey for dinner with my batchmates and we ate at House. the food is good! expensive too but my dear batchmates treated me. hahah

when i reach dear's house, i got a surprise. hahah actually not very surprised la cause i would have guess he planned something. i saw my cake n my tiffany ring!!! heeee

e next day we went for jap buffet at hanabi. wanted to try out brazil food but i'm a jap fan. in e end still eat jap food. haha on our way we took some pics. i tink i look reli nice in e pics and i know dear look quite bad but i'm selfish, i still wanna post on facebook. but dear actually untagged himself!!!!! ok so to be nice, i decided to remove e pics cause yes, he reli look quite bad, dun wanna embarrase him la. hahah but i post on my blog cause very few ple (i tink less than 5) read my blog.

my fren came over to jurong point to find me for dinner after work and we had billy bombers

i've been eating too much this whole week. i gained too much weight.

but i feel so blessed with so many ple caring and celebrating my birthday. and thanks for all the well wishes frm all of u! hope i'll continue be so blessed =)

i have been falling sick too often. yest when i woke up my whole body is aching so mummy wanted me to eat panadol. but apparently did not get better. after that went to dear's sis house for shabu shabu. though i was feeling unwell did not dare to tell dear, cause its quite a rare chance for dear to have shabu shabu with his family, so i didn wanna spoil his mood.

but e fever kept coming back after my panadols subside. damn it. i hate to be sick.

so we had to cancel our plan to go to chinese garden today. i so wanna go chinese garden with dear today since its mooncake festival. haiz. upset. i know next mth when i start work officially at the branch i'll be damn busy again and working 7 days a week. no time for dear and yet this mth when i'm super free dear is very busy with his work. haizzzz

i'm having a super slack life cause i'm back at tampines for training to be upgraded. i had my last mon-thurs off cause my training only starts on fri.

speaking of which, i had a very nice and simple weekend. cause i finally doesnt have to work the whole weekend cause since i'm not running for sales this mth, i dun have to go to any roadshows! hee it started with meeting dear on friday night at clementi after my training at tampines. after our dinner we decided to go to vivocity for a walk and i finally bought my aldo heels. yeah!!! wanna wear it soon. after that dear came to my place to stay over cause dear is not on duty that sat.

we slept till pretty late on sat before we decided to meet my aunt and my cousins for lunch. after tt i accompanied dear to bedok to meet his client to sign some documents while i wandered ard in e old neighbourhood haha. den we went to town before meeting dear's sister n her bf for dinner. we went to mushroom pot. woooo wow e food is nice man. esp e mushroom hot pot soup. i like haha. den later we met cheryl, geo suan and their bfs at minds cafe. e pics are in cheryl's camera. will post it up later when she tag me e pics at facebook haha. we played till ard 1 plus before me going over to dear's house to stay over.

i'm back from bkk. it started to be quite bad cause i was having food poisoning e night before my flight. was vomitting and have diarrohea that i had to see a 24hr doc at 4am to get an injection which cost me a freaking $110!!!! good thing my mum and dear was looking after me plus my dad sending me to e doc. at 1st dear say dun go bkk alr cause i puked at least 10 times that he call me lspq (lao sai puke queen), but i insisted cause my vomitting stop in e morning.

so when we touched down at 12 plus we immediately went to hotel to sleep b4 coming out for dinner. i didn eat thai food there at all, cause scared my food poisoning not completely recovered yet. but thank god, i felt alot better when i was there

yest was my last day in ey!anyway didn reli spread e news in gfs tt yest was my last day there. but still went to harry's with VERY FEW ple. hahah cause all of them are still working. super poor thing huh. went to my partner's room to do some clearance and when he heard abt my decision and where i was going he was damn shocked. surprisingly, he told me to give myself 3 mths, if i dun like e job just email him and i can come back. tts SUPER NICE of him. i was abit amazed. somemore he wrote at the partner's comment, hope you will come back to ey. ahahhaha i tink my manager overheard wad he says and he told me partners dun reli try to ask an A1 to stay back so yes,im flattered =)

hello all!!! finally got sometime to blog. so glad for chinese new year to come! was VERY busy, yes very for the past few weeks with me ending work at 1 plus 2 am and still gotta reach work at 9am next day! finally managed to catch up with my sleep

well, i forgot to take pics with my cousins! how blur can i be. so up till now e pics i have abt cny is e miserly few pics that i took when we went to kwang wei's place yest night for mahjong.

i noticed this really really cute mouse ornament in his place. so took a pic of it:

anyway, i shld be able to definintely fulfil one resolution that i set myself earlier in the year. get my driving license! but i made such a big fuss in bbdc today cause they told me i have to wait 2-3 hours to ren-enrol myself as a member cause they terminate my account since my it expired! BH!!!! i'm already a member! just i forgot to renew my membership. so i was like indirectly scolding the service person for being so ridiculous (ok this doesnt tie with my resolution no. 6 - be nicer to ple ard me). well, i was reli super pissed. anyway after 2 hours of waiting, finally got my advanced theory date on 23rd april.

oh ya, i realise i'm a person of drama. there was this night, as usual, knocking off late at work, tink 12 plus, i went into the lift with this guy tt i thought looked familiar. when we were in the lift, he told me tt i gotta be very careful when i go home at this hour cause his gf just got ROBBED in the lift, with the guy pointing his knife at his gf. i was quite scared so i asked the guy to send me to my doorstep. the next day when i went back to work, my colleagues laugh damn loud. they say i'm so funny to get a stranger to send me home. and this joke continued for 2 days.

finally an update after so long! its e peak!!! i go home earliest at 10pm and i have worked 2 continous saturdays!!! so this basically sums up, i have no life! but well, still managed to meet up with my cheapo bestie twice this mth

well, i failed my cfa level 1. heard frm cheapo that everyone she knows who took cfa last dec passed, except me. it makes me think, am i really so bimbo? or just i didn put in enough effort? haiz. i guess i'll retake it again, mayb in june? there goes my LV fund (ok, this makes me sound reli bimbo)

on a lighter note, cny is coming! which i totally dun feel it cause of the peak. v day is coming, which currently i have no date on that day. but fang rui's rom is coming!

it's new year!!!

i've decided to put down my new year resolutions since i just realised its been quite long that i wrote my diary. and with my peak starting tmr, i guess i should better pen down my thoughts before things get too busy

1. love my family even more (ie treat my parents and my brother better)
2. pass my CFA level 1
3. my driving license (i love my driving classes)
4. save money! (i dunno where all my money went cause i dun tink i bought alot of stuff)
5. exercise! (e fats around my tummy is getting out of hand. and my arms too)
6. be a nicer person to people around me (ie my relatives, frens, colleagues, even passerbys in my life)
and lastly, find someone that loves me as much as i love him (it's all up to God, so cant be a real resolution haha)

to summarise, pray that 2008 will be better then 2007

after 2 weeks of leave, i'm finally back at work. but today is half day, and i only went to work for 2 hours for a short meeting. e meeting is quite demoralizing cause i realise its reli e start of my peak!!!!i am expected to work till 11plus pm everyday and even on saturdays!!! i'm sure gonna be 'no-life rachel'.

anyway its new year's eve today!! going to meet my girls for steamboat at fangrui's dear new house (fyi is her house with her hubby, which means yes, she's getting married!!!)

cause i'm staying at home to study for my cfa on a saturday, i'm starting to wander my thoughts away (can see i totally have no motivation to study for my cfa)

finally i'm able to pen down my thoughts. i had been unhappy for more den a month. but thank God i have my close frens who were there to listen to me complaining. and i was truly happy on my bdae. so many of my aabs and fangrui and huishi came for my bdae celebration tt night, plus my colleagues celebrating for me.

well, probably i was too gullible and innocent. i always believed in choosing the someone that i love more den he loves me. well, it turns out to be wrong. but its better to be hurt now than later. so now i've gotten out of my trap and living even better then before, at least stronger =)

i know that since i started work in ey, i somehow changed to another person. i enjoy partying so much (but i know i have that potential long ago). i drink, club, come home late, even my mum is always nagging at me. but luckily, she trusts me 100%. so i enjoy her nagging. i somehow neglected my bestest fren (havent went out with her for 1 mth plus!!!!). so no matter how tired i was on sunday, i dragged my butt out of my house to watch secret with her. so though we only spend 2 plus hours together still enjoy my bestest fren company's so much. cause she is e only one who will laugh out loud in the cinema with me hahaha

and also. i'm so glad to find another bestest fren now. my dearest cheapo! loving her more and more. just spending sat afternoons with her is not enough. alrights i sound so les. but serious, i make it a pt to meet her every sat, no matter how many appointments i have and how tired i am. love u cheapo!

i am currently very satisfied with my life now. though i kp complaining abt how boring to be listening to classes and dun have time at all to study my CFA but i still enjoy wad i am doing now. as of now, i dun have any regrets to reject the bank offer. hope my life wont get bored with so many papers i have to cross reference to and tick mark.

training at penang was boring since we had to sit there from 8.30am to 5.30pm. so we were all looking forward to lunch time and tea time and definitely 5.30pm!!!

i cant believe i fell asleep while watching transformers! i was supposed to catch a midnight show with P at bugis and we reached quite early at 8 plus, so we decided to nua at victoria's bar. i finally finished a stella artois. pretty good beer i shld say, since i had nv liked drinking beer. ok no more alcohol for me for a week! i feel all e toxic in my body! and yes when i get back frm penang, zouk wont allow smoking anymore which means i will definitely enjoy zouk alot more.

so we nua and nua and after tt eat supper and theres nothing else to do so we decided to go up to e cinema area. den we spotted a do not enter sign to this rooftop but we still went in. its e rooftop that i saw in channel 8 shows at bugis where some mediacorp ple tried to jump down. anyway it was a great place to be in

ok by 1230, i'm tired. i am lacking of slp since i went zouk on fri night and slept at 4 plus woke up at 10. den i tink i slept at 1 plus and i didn see e transformers war. arghhhhhh its so wasted!!!! i just cant open my eyes. but still Megan Fox is reli hot!!! her body is damn hot but i will prefer Jessica Alba if you look at overall.

zouk on fri was alright. its just too packed that cant dance properly. probably everyone came down to zouk because they dun allow smoking in zouk after 1st july. and i drank too fast so was a bit tipsy. and C was angry with me. well, i hate ple to be angry with me. and its even worse if it's over a misunderstanding.

yoz, i'm here again. haven been updating my blog as frequently as i had been doing so for e past week, because i'm just bored. ok rach, u gotta relax at times alright.

hmmm i realise that as one grows up, he/she has to make impt decisions more and more frequently. once again, i'm faced with a real dilemma. much as i know i will enjoy doing frontline job, i am just not a brave person. e social norm of ntu accounting grads is to go big 4. this has to be politically correct, if not there would not be so many seniors doing that. so wad if i'm not going to follow suit? wad if 2 yrs later i find myself struggling to hit sales target and look super shagged while i see my frens in gfs flourishing? i hate regrets. its either i'm going to excel in it or not. ple tell me to follow my heart. wad if my heart is split into half? ok mayb 60/40, and this time i'm reli not sure if i will make a decision that i will be satisified with and not regret in e future. wad shld i do? at least up till now, i've not regretted any choices i made. just like coming into ntu accountancy instead of ntu communication studies or smu business admin, going to canada for exchange etc. i hope that i am not going to regret e decision i'm going to make

i'm bored again. i've been meeting up with friends alot for the past almost week. because i am so free. i have got nothing to do, once again. shld be reading my CFA books but is reli lazy. and i'm updating my blog writing rubbish now. waiting for my mum to come back frm work, at least i hav someone to talk to. everyone is busy, except me. yeah shld i be glad? come on i'm only left with 5 days to rest when i've not taken a break since i came back frm canada and yet i'm complaining? i must be mad!

been spending too much money buying nonsense, like eye makeup remover, toner, lipstick, eyeliner, jackets, tops, shoes. i haven even finish wearing all the stuff i bought back frm taiwan. just painted my nails red. judging by wad i've been writing for this entry, can see i am just writing alot of crap. reason being: I'M TOO BORED.

yeah! i left my footprints on taiwan! these 8 days grad trip is fun! except for the tour guide borrowing money from us and a little hao se. haha me and fangrui were joking we had seen each other for 8 times 24 hours = 192 hours.

i really shopped like mad. i bought 5 pairs of shoes, 2 bags, 8 tops, 4 dresses and of course many local delicacies.

so here's some pics

and we went to taipei 101, but there are absolutely nothing to buy since e branded stuff is even more ex then sing. so we end up eating at mister donut.

and this is e zhong xiao dong lu train station. zhong xiao dong lu zou jiu bian, chuan guo muo shen ren chuan shou xi ni de lian. hahaha i kept singing this song when we were at zhong xiao dong lu

so after taipei, we travelled down to hualien. and we stopped by tai lu ke. being a fan of huan zhu ge ge, once i reached the place i kept singing shan ye piao piao, shui ye piao piao. hahaha

and then we went to kao shiung. this is our tour bus. cool sia. can sing ktv and watch dvd in it

i am bored. started working right after my exams end and i am so tired. just 2.5 weeks of not working and i am tired. wads wrong with me. but oh well, my nice colleagues there did make a diff. i realise i am so old! this temp girl who came to my branch today is only 18 years old! and i am 22! in 7 mths!!! freak!!! so old!

i reli cant wait to put my butt on the plane to taiwan. though i am a little disappointed i dun have the money to go work and travel or europe but at least taiwan is still not bad. bet i will have lotsa fun with fangrui (ps is my maiden trip with fangrui hahahahha). thinking of going to bintan in june since i have decided to give myself a 2 weeks break before i officially start work. shld give myself a treat. go spa manicure pedicure just do wadever to pamper myself

i have graduated! and i am definitely flying to taiwan on 5th may!

actually i dun reli feel anything after finishing my derivatives paper today. just that when i was sitting in the bus to get out of ntu, i feel a little hmmm sad. the kind of she bu de that kind of feeling. but i will still be going back to ntu, at least once for my convocation.

so its been set, i am starting work on 2nd july. is a little early, but is definitely a better timing den those who start late. and yes, finally changed my phone. though is not the ideal one, but since is free, is still worth it.

i rem few weeks ago when i was watching kan xi lai le, there is this guest star who sang xin bu liao qing, this very very old song. yest when i was watching the show the real singer of the song, wan fang sang that song. i am so loving this song. dunno why, suddenly i have a craze for old songs and i wan to sing the songs in ktv!

when i was young, i imagined myself to be working in shenton way, alighting at raffles place mrt station, walking very fast with the crowd in blazer heels makeup, and so now i have been doing that for the past 2 days and i am tired.

i realise that ple tend to be greedy. i tot my 1st choice of big 4 is ey and so i was happy when i got the offer frm ey. den i started to wait for calls from deloitte and kpmg. so now kpmg called and i am indecisive again.

haha finally i am updating my blog. i tot blogspot will just cancel my account since it has not been touched for like a couple of months. this just has to be the best semester of my undergraduate studies, apart from queen's of course. being super busy with the 4 modules, doing business plan (though our group did not get to second round but it was great great fun), making more friends this semester, getting into minor in entrepreneurship program and many many more. just cant think of all now.

oh yes and very importantly, my 21st birthday!!! had a party finally though at first there were some uncertainty as to whether i will eventually hold my party. haha and during my party it was raining heavily and since i decided to have my party in west coast park, i placed my buffet in the shelter. as expected, some did not turn up due to the rain but i still had a wonderful time. to those who turned up despite of rain and exams, thanks man!

i seldom update my blog now because i think it is crazy to tell everyone wad i do everyday, esp when i am not a superstar, who would be interested to know wads going on in my life everyday.
and so decided to change my blog add to restrict the number of ple reading it (not that my blog is really so interesting that ple will read my blog often too)
had been slacking at home for 3 weeks and finally it is time to go back to campus. oh ya the international office actually requested that i present about queen's in lkc. i said yes before knowing i got to present in such a big LT but anyway its going be a good experience why not

and i realised life is so unpredictable. i was on the road with my mum and we met my mum's ex-classmate. he looked alright to me till he said he went for a heart bypass 6 years ago and actually cut his veins from his legs to put in his heart so he doesnt have much strength to walk now. the thought sent chills into my spine. haha he told my mum that 'ni de nu er zhang de man biao zhi' hahah 'biao zhi'. no one commented abt my looks in this way before, interesting i should say
and i went my uncle's house just now. i knew that my uncle was diagnosed with cancer when i was in canada and he went for an operation to take out the cancer cells. the operation was a success but a month ago seems that his cancer cells have spread. his wife, my aunt is very upset. she told me to read this thing that she got her fren to dl frm www abt chemo and asked me if my uncle should go for it. well, i read and can only say there is pros and cons. its so saddening
we really should treasure the ple around us and so i am going to tell everyone that i love 'i love u guys'!

have been real busy these few days, working overtime to clear the accounts for the month. when i hear from my accounts exec that they are super busy in dec and cant even celebrate christmas i started to think that i cant go skiing in dec in the future if i were to stay in finance department.

and i can call for taxi to go home because i stayed overtime. my 1st time calling for cabs! it cost 4 bucks just to call for a cab! but the cabs here are really so efficient! i called for a cab, packed my bag, took the lift and the cab is already waiting for me at the lobby. impressed! so fun calling for cabs.

oh ya fangrui called me last week to complain about the LA sucky system but at least she was enjoying herself in san franciso. i cant tink of anyone to go out with me in the weekend now. life seems boring without her, but at least i am still occupied with my work for 7 more working days!

when i am staring blankly at my blog screen and cant think of anything to update, i know there is definitely something wrong with my life. it is all revolving around my work, i even dream of my work when i am sleeping and keep on telling myself to faster finish one job so that i can proceed on to another job. whats wrong with me. a sign of me becoming a workaholic? haha

and the funny thing abt my intern is i go to so many diff depts and i went up to lab for the past few days and this nice guy saw that i looked at diff equipments or machines with interest he would explain the function of it to me. so now i know that gas chromatogram is used to test volatile chemicals (am i right? or i forgot wad he told me?) and other things he told me but i dun rem, just not cut out to be a science person, engineer or chemist. i reli know how to make use of my company, i popped into my IT manager's room today and tell him to repair my creative thumbdrive and there's nothing he can do with it after testing it out for 20 mins.

i realise qantas has just cut its air ticket by a little! yeah!

i lost my phone a week ago, i seriously have no idea how i lost my phone till now i am still upset over that phone. if nbs had given me the indexes i wan earlier i would not have to go back to sch, but oh well nvm and now i got all the indexes i wan but i am still going get 5 days week.

i wasnt too excited abt great singapore sale, is just another time for me to spend money but i still went to town and it's crazy. so many people!!!! why does great singapore sales need to have official opening?? it seems like it is a very grand event of singapore .

and so went to those shops that i always like to go. went to guess last night and this afternoon. last night i saw this really nice bag going for only 149.50 but on second thought, it's 1/4 of my monthly intern pay. my pay is so pathetic la and so i decide not to buy that bag. but when i was going home and in the lift i saw this lady carrying a guess carrier and in it lies that bag i was eyeing. the bag is so nice la and on top of that she bought another guess bag too. i saw her husband carrying 2 big isetan bags and charles and keith bag too. super envious but since i am still a student me just carrying 2 small bags home should be quite consoling la.

and went to sta travel with fangrui and met 2 bitches there.

i love the arrival of fridays. it's the only day when i can dress down and feel that i am someone of my age. i love weekends, so that i can wear short skirts and really short skirts compared to the ones i wear to work. i love sunlight. i am so deprived of the vitamins that sunlight can give to my skin.

i wasnt in my best mood and so the first fren i tot of telling to is my dearest fangrui. i messaged her at 9.02am (which is super early since is a public holiday) and she replied me almost instanteously. love her! for being there when i wan to talk to her
